About Us

Built by Payments People Who Found Blockchain

KomiKey Technologies was founded in 2017 by James Hart and Sarah Chen, who met while working on payment infrastructure at Revolut. Frustrated by how difficult it was to integrate crypto payments reliably at scale, they left to build the tooling they wished had existed.

What started as a two-person consultancy in a Shoreditch co-working space has grown into a 38-person specialist firm serving clients across Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. We have offices in London, Lisbon, and Singapore.

Our Mission

We believe crypto payments should be as reliable, fast, and invisible as card payments. Every business that wants to accept digital assets should be able to do so without hiring a team of blockchain engineers. We exist to close that gap.

Our Approach

We are engineers first. Every engagement starts with a deep technical audit of your existing payment stack. We do not sell you a product — we design a solution to your specific problem, build it, and hand it over with full documentation and a 12-month support SLA.

We work across the full stack: protocol layer, smart contracts, APIs, SDKs, and front-end wallet UIs. We understand compliance requirements in the UK, EU, US, and Singapore, and we build with those constraints in mind from the start.
